Universal Robots UR16e

Meet The UR16e

BUILT FOR HEAVY DUTY TASKS

The UR16e collaborative robot is designed for demanding jobs including machine maintenance, material handling, packaging, material removal, and screw- and nut-driving applications. It can lift numerous components in a single pick and has a remarkable payload capacity of 16 kg, which is especially beneficial for transporting large end-of-arm tools. Shorter cycle times result in operations being completed quickly. Additionally, the UR16e collaborative robot from Universal Robots is available with a 3-Position Teach pendant and as an OEM robot system.

easy programming of a UR robot

Collaborative robots from Universal Robots can be easily set up and operated by operators without programming knowledge thanks to patented technology from Universal Robots. To utilize the arrow keys on the simple touchscreen tablet, just move the collaborative robot arm to the required waypoints.

fast set-up of a UR robot

Collaborative robot setup has been revolutionized by Universal Robots, which has cut down on the standard robotic deployment time from weeks to only a few hours. Only a half-worth day’s of setup time is often reported by our customers. It usually takes less than an hour for an untrained operator to unpack the collaborative robot, mount it, and program the first task.

flexible deployment of a UR robot

Without altering your production structure, collaborative robots from Universal Robots are portable, compact, and simple to re-deploy to different applications. You may quickly and easily adapt the collaborative robot to new processes, providing you the flexibility to automate practically any manual operation, including ones with small batches or quick changeovers. Programs can be reused by the collaborative robot for repeatable tasks.

safety of a UR robot

In order to decrease repetitive stress injuries and unintentional injuries, you can now substitute human operators in dirty, dangerous, and dull jobs. Eighty percent of the thousands of UR collaborative robots operating alongside human operators do so without any safety guarding (after risk assessment). UR’s collaborative robots’ safety system has received TÜV approval and certification (The German Technical Inspection Association).

THE INDUSTRIAL COBOT, UR16e

BIGGER TASKS

The UR16e collaborative robot from Universal Robots is built for more difficult tasks where accuracy and dependability are very crucial.

EASY TO PROGRAM

The UR16e collaborative robot from Universal Robots, like our other collaborative robots, has one of the quickest payback times in the industry, is simple to program, offers quick setup, and is collaborative and safe.

RELATED APPLICATIONS FOR YOUR UR16E

WHY MANUAL PALLETIZING IS NO LONGER GOOD ENOUGH
No matter how carefully you plan your manual palletizing tasks, difficulties inevitably arise. Injury is one of the main risks involved in manual palletizing. For hours on end, workers twist, lift, and bend. These unsafe tasks have the potential to jeopardise the workers’ health and lead to strain injuries over time. Automating your palletizing tasks with collaborative robots from Universal Robots allows you to free up staff from strenuous lifting and enhances their general wellbeing. Collaborative robots can continue to work at the same speed for longer than human employees can. By doing so, downtime is reduced, and productivity ultimately increases.  Palletizing cobots from Universal Robots are easy to operate and the ideal way to transform a bottleneck task into a quick and painless one.
OUR ROBOTIC ARMS MAXIMIZE EFFICIENCY FOR CNC OR INJECTION MOLDING MACHINES, INCREASE QUALITY, OPTIMIZE PRODUCTION, AND IMPROVE PERFORMANCE

Relieve machine workers from tedious, repetitive work that puts them at risk for injury. To free up employees for more valuable jobs, collaborative robots from Universal Robots can be employed to maintain machines like CNC, injection molding, press brakes, stamping presses, and more. Reduce the risk of injury associated with operating close to large machinery while increasing speed and process quality.  Additionally, UR collaborative robots can be programmed to work at a slower speed when a human enters their workspace and will resume working normally when the human exits.

E-COMMERCE AND FULFILLMENT GROWTH DEMANDS COLLABORATIVE INNOVATION FOR AUTOMATED BIN PICKING AND PACKAGING
Utilize collaborative robots from Universal Robots to automate your material handling, packaging, palletizing, bin picking, labelling, and kitting operations. Use lightweight collaborative robot arms to automate material handling activities, relieving people of heavy lifting and repetitive work. Automation makes it simple to meet seasonal peaks despite manpower shortages, combats rising expenses of new product packaging, and shortens product life cycles. Collaborative robots can pick up a variety of objects even in unstructured areas like bins or totes thanks to its revolutionary grippers, computer vision, and machine learning systems.
REDUCE WASTE AND INCREASE ACCURACY BY USING A UNIVERSAL ROBOT FOR MATERIAL REMOVAL APPLICATIONS
You may increase the flexibility, effectiveness, and freedom of your grinding, deburring, milling, routing, drilling, and other material removal processes by using a collaborative robot from Universal Robots. The e-Series robots have integrated force/torque sensors to insert the tool consistently and precisely, reducing waste and junk while streamlining your operation. Our adaptable, lightweight collaborative robots are simple to move to the locations where you require application support. You can repurpose and re-deploy the robot to other parts of your production after the task is completed. By giving a collaborative robot access to hazardous jobs, workplace safety can be increased.
